Description:

PokerTH is a poker game written in C++/QT. You can play the popular "Texas Hold'em" poker variant against up to 9 computer-opponents or play network and internet games with people all over the world. This poker engine is available for Android, Linux, Windows, and MacOSX.

I think this is the best poker game! :P I really like the internet game function.
At first I downloaded the source, and tried to compile it myself, but I couldn't because of this error:
"error: curl/curl.h: no such file or directory" (it could be my mistake) . After this I downloaded the .deb files, and it works well :)

This truly is the best free Texas Hold'em game I have come across thus far. I recommended it in the linuxquestions.org member choice awards. Thanks for a wonderful game.

Hi,
can't install. Running the installer causes segmentation fault on openSUSE 10.3. Beta1 worked.
I don't think, it's a good idea to provide an installer for a beta, if there aren't links into $PATH or .desktop files included. Installer should make life easier for noops, I think.
Nevertheless I enjoy playing (with beta1)

Hello,

really great game - works great on IA32 but not on amd64 cause of lacking dependecies to libssl and libcrypto.
These libraries are not in the ia32-libs (1.19) debian packages.
Is it possible to link statically against them?

I've tried to compile pokerth from source but with no luck. I'm using 64studio on amd64 (based on debian testing and mixed of my own with experimentel packages).

It looks like you are running gcc-3.x with libstdc++.so.5. For PokerTH you need the actual gcc-4.x with libstdc++.so.6.

Very nice game, I like it!
I have a suggestion:

It would be nice to have a "pause" button: most of the time it doesn't matter for me how fast the game is going, but when the cards are unveiled in the end I would like to have some seconds more. Especially the beginners need some time to see what the others are having.

Also, it would be cool when the computer would show what the player actually has (like: won with flush, etc), and what the others have.
